Thames 17 - Millwall Llamas 12

Things looked difficult for the Llamas in the first half with scrums not going our way and referee decisions also not going the way we might want - 17-0 looked like the likely half time score. However, substitutions in the last few minutes improved the scrum and yielded a try from Seb Villard. The rejuvenation continued in the second half, with the home team not looking likely to score. Sadly the forward thrust of the game was brought to an abrupt halt with an injury. Despite the penalty try, the game was pretty much over for the Llamas after the incident as there was no real opportunity to make good on the promise being shown.

Writtle 25 Millwall 28. Yes the game was really that close, after losing against them in the league fixture a few weeks ago it was always going to be a hard fought fixture in the cup. Much improved communication and discipline from Millwall made sure the result went our way this time. Kudos to Writtle for a game they pushed all the way to final whistle and could just as easily have emerged as the worthy winners.

Llamas 57 - Southend 12

A depleted in numbers (but not spirit) Southend side gamely turned up to battle the Llamas on Saturday.

Despite some solid play from the visitors (and guest llamas) Millwall managed an overdue win that was entertaining for the spectators with some nippy runs culminating in points.
