Millwall boasts a very international membership and we celebrate being the Club with the most diverse players base in non-professional rugby (not a verified fact).

So, every year we like to encourage some friendly rivalry between our host nation - England - and the players who have joined us from all around the world. This much anticipated day consists of each section’s English Millwallians playing against the “Rest of the World” Millwallians.

Kicking off at 11am, we start with the Youth Section, then the Underdogs, followed by a Senior Squad Double Header in the early afternoon, and finally, a Social well into the night!

With our membership representing over 36 nationalities, the usual rugby jerseys are a great way to represent your country, but we'd really encourage everyone to up the ante this year. In other words, there will be prizes for Best National Dress and so much more...

All are welcome, so bring down your partners, pals, and parents.

We’d love to see you join our Club Quiz Afternoon. It will be a mix of questions, level and formats so there is something for everyone, and we encourage team sizes of up to 6 each.

With home matches for all of our senior sides on the weekend of the 8th & 9th of March 2025, Millwall Rugby Club is hosting our inaugural Side Line Squad Social. We warmly invite all player’s parents, partners and pals to join us!

What's On: 

• Sat. 08 March - 2 x Men’s home matches. (KOs 12:00 & 14:00)

• Sun. 09 March - 1 x Venus home match (KO 14:00)

• All Weekend - In the Clubhouse, drinks specials and snacks, as well as live 6 Nations matches on the big screen.

Let’s dive into our news for this week. 

Results from Last Weekend:

Millwall Men’s 1st XV had a well deserved week off.

Millwall Llamas won their friendly 39-21.

Millwall Venus had a resounding win against Dartfordians 24-5. 

Upcoming Fixtures:

Men’s 1st XV are jetting off to Clacton for a solid away day. 

Llamas are taking on Dagenham at home, kicking off at 2pm.

Venus has a bye-week. 

Millwall Youth Training on Sunday from 10am. 

Upcoming Club Socials

We still have some spaces at the table for our Thirst Thursday X Club Curry Night hosted at The Gaylord (E14 3DN) on Thursday 6 February, from 7pm. To nab your spot at dinner, register on our new Socials page. There is a lot of info there about upcoming events.  

Looking into March, think you’ve got what it takes to be crowned the ultimate quiz champion? We’d love to see you join our Club Quiz Afternoon on Sunday 2 March from 1.30pm. 

Six Nations action kicks off tomorrow, and our clubhouse will be showing the England game live! The space opens up at 3:30, and we have a few new drink offers on special. You can get your hands on 4 pints of Guinness for just £13, and we’re offering full sized bottles of bubbles. Come down for 2pm to watch our Llamas play at home, then come warm up with some more lively rugby.

As we celebrate a monumental milestone in the history of the Club — our 30th anniversary! - we invite all past and present Millwallians to this evening reunion event to look back on the years that have gone by and to hear the news of the exciting times ahead.

Tickets are on sale NOW and are £20. This secures your place to the event and includes a drink on arrival, buffet-style food offering, and an item of Millwall merch to take home.

We will be in touch with attendees closer to the time regarding the event running times, requests for songs, and so on.
