Info: Your New Millwall Rugby Club Membership System

All,

As noted in the Chairman’s email sent last week, we wanted to tell you more about the new membership system we have in place, powered by LoveAdmin.com, which allows you to keep your Millwall membership information up-to-date and pay online.

From 1st September 2019, we will no longer take an upfront £50 membership charge, and instead request payment by monthly direct debit on the 1st of each month. By paying online you help the Club greatly reduce the time spent administering membership and match day sub collection.

The membership year runs September to August, and if you’d prefer not to take up full membership, we have introduced a category for non-voting ad-hoc players who will still have to pay match subs on the day, but won’t have access to the membership features listed below. Additionally, you may apply for Concessionary Membership (Volunteer, Student, Retired, Unemployed) if you can provide relevant evidence.

Membership Overview (Pricing).JPG

If you are a current member, you should have received access details to your membership account on Love Admin. We kindly ask that you update your personal details and start on setting up your direct debit details.

On 1st September 2019 you will receive an email requesting your first payment, and once that is made, you will then receive a Millwall Rugby Club membership pack by email, as well as an MRFC membership card. You will need to present this membership card at the Clubhouse Bar to take advantage of the 20% discount. Anyone who's current membership renewal date falls after September will receive credit for the unused portion so your monthly payments will be reduced until next August.

Membership payments are the lifeblood of Millwall Rugby Club. We are a non-profit-making organisation and we rely on income from memberships, sponsorship, and the bar to keep the club alive and functional. All the money we receive is spent on running the club, keeping children and adults playing, watching and experiencing rugby in as many ways as we can provide, and keeping the Clubhouse Bar stocked! Apart from all the costs of running the Clubhouse, we also need to:

  • pay for playing kit and training equipment,

  • pay for coaches and referees,

  • hire the pitches from the Council,

  • hire minibuses to the marshes and for away games,

  • cater post-match food for children and adults,

  • keep our volunteers DBS checked and trained on various courses,

  • the list goes on….

We can’t thank you enough for your support and for investing in membership of the club; it is crucial for our continued successful operation.

If you have any questions on the new system, please don’t hesitate to contact:

 Kind regards,

Kate Roy
Communications Officer
