This Week at Millwall - 25 October 2024

Hope you're all well! We have a ton of festivities to look forward to at the club in the weeks to come, so let's get stuck in!
Results from Last Weekend:
Millwall Men’s 1st XV experienced another Away Walk Over over the weekend, but still played a game in order to receive the well deserved 5 points. They beat Witham 59-0.
Millwall Llamas beat out Harlow ||| to the tune of 48-14 at our park.
Millwall Venus lost to Bexley 29-0.
Upcoming Fixtures:
Millwall Men’s 1st XV get ready to take on Clacton as they surge to the top quarter of the table. They'll kick off at home at 2pm this weekend.
Millwall Llamas travel out to Pegasus for a must-win away game.
Millwall Venus will play Belsize at noon on Saturday before the Men's 1st XV in a friendly.
Millwall Youth Update
Club Quiz on November 7th - It would be lovely to see a strong showing from the youth sections parents & volunteers, let’s make some roaring teams. Fancy joining but haven’t got a team? Reach out and we can help each other put some teams together.
COACHES DEVELOPMENT - We have had no less than two courses this last week. Wednesday night was “Play It Safe”, an intense and long but invaluable safeguarding course. Sunday afternoon, it was “Kids First Tag”, a coaching development course focusing on tag coaching and refereeing, a very active and physically demanding course, not least after having already coached. Thank you to all the volunteers who took part and gave up many hrs of their time.
Club Social Events
This Saturday the 26th, Millwall will be hosting our halloween party following the double header on our ground. Come in costume for a noon kick off, followed by another match at 2. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed, and we'll be participating in a few festive games throughout the day.
We're planning a club quiz night on November 7th, so look out for more updates as we begin to confirm more items. The same goes for our darts night.
